May 2007 DRA2 WebEx Dates

It is our pleasure to offer you our Developmental Reading Assessment Training, using WebEx. The sessions will provide an overview of the components and assessment procedure followed by live question and answer opportunity.

The training is convenient, easy, and interactive. We provide a variety of presentation dates and times at the location of your choice. To participate in Webex Training, you will need: one computer with high speed Internet access to view the meeting and one separate telephone line per person (or with speaker phone if viewing in groups) for the audio portion of the session.

You can register up to one week before the scheduled date. Go to http://pearsonlc.webex.com and select the event you would like to attend. Then follow the directions to ENROLL. These sessions are free, and we encourage you to attend any number of sessions to provide clarity and understanding in how to administer and interpret the DRA2.

After completing your information and pressing SUBMIT, you will receive an email message indicating that your enrollment has been accepted. This email will provide instructions on what to do on the day of the event and any passwords that may be needed. Please print or save this information.

If you intend to participate in a group training, we strongly recommend that you identify one person to coordinate the WebEx Training. Identify the number of people to attend to ensure all attendees have proper equipment and materials. For groups, we recommend projecting on a screen and using a speakerphone to listen to the presentation. On the day of the event, log on approximately 15 minutes ahead of the time to ensure you are connected correctly.
